Tracey Sloop – Director

Tracey is the Director for Brightmore of South Charlotte. She brings to Brightmore 20 years of varied experience in retirement living operations. A proven manager and focus on customer services are traits she has displayed throughout her career. “I found it very evident that working in independent retirement living setting is where I am supposed to be. Working with the individuals in the retirement community is very life fulfilling and it is my desire that I make a positive difference in their lives. I look forward to welcoming each person to Brightmore as their new home.”

Brigitte Rinaldi – Marketing Director, Brightmore of South Charlotte

Brigitte is the Sales and Marketing Director for Brightmore of South Charlotte. “I have spent the past 17 helping seniors make decisions to secure and enhance their futures. It is definitely my calling. I love having the opportunity to sit with these folks, learn about their life experiences and help them through the process of making one of the biggest decisions in life. Even better, is seeing them enjoy their lives after the move. Without the burden of home ownership, they are free to truly explore the things that interest them most. It is so fulfilling to be a part of this process and often results in lifelong friendships, not only with the seniors but with their families as well.”

I believe it is my calling in life to be a nurse. Working with the retired and geriatric communities is my passion. I chose this group to work with above all other because I get to learn lessons of love, understanding, and great strength. My residents give to me much more than I could ever give to them. I get to play a small part in their amazing lives and that for me is such an honor. I love hearing their stories and sharing in the paths they have taken. Melanie Periard – Move-In Coordinator, Brightmore of South Charlotte

Melanie serves as the Move-In Coordinator for Brightmore of South Charlotte. She has a strong background in the daily operations of senior care communities ranging from administrative functions as well as being the initial point of contact for residents and families. In her role with Brightmore she is responsible to schedule and arrange all new resident move-ins. Her organizational skills and eye for detail will enable the provision of an exceptional customer service experience. “It is my goal to make each person’s move to Brightmore as seamless as possible and I look forward to welcoming each resident to their new home.”

Anna Willis – Life Enrichment Director/Activities Director

Anna joined our team in November 2014 as our Life Enrichment Director. She ensures our residents are engaged within the community as well as the greater Charlotte area through programming such as, events at the center for performing arts, educational opportunities, and themed socials! Anna is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she earned a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Anna is a great fit for her role at Brightmore because she lives by the motto "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." –C.S. Lewis.

Evin Whittle – Wellness Director

Evin is the Wellness Director here at Brightmore of South Charlotte. In this position, he designs and leads classes that help improve our residentís balance, fitness and overall health. He helps in designing personal health and fitness plans for our residents. He also assists in the transition of our residents from physical therapy back to their independent lifestyle. Evin graduated with a degree in Exercise Science from Winthrop University, where he developed his passion for working with the senior population.

Tim Storey – Maintenance Director

Started working in the multi-family housing industry in 2005. Tim is Universal HVAC EPA certified and CPO certified. He graduated from Clover High School in 1991. He enjoys his position at Brightmore of South Charlotte because of the residents and the staff are amazing.
